How do I use Google’s search bar to watch a video without opening the YouTube app?

The Google search bar has been replaced with a new “View” tab that lets you navigate to content, and Google Play Store users have been reporting that they’re seeing this new feature on their apps.

As of writing this, there is no Google Play store link on this page for the video that you want to watch, but if you’re looking to watch the video on your phone, you can use the “View YouTube” tab to do so.

If you have a Google Chrome browser, you should see this new tab.

It’s not the best option if you want the YouTube search bar open to browse through the YouTube Play Store, but you can get a “View Video” tab in the YouTube toolbar to open the search bar and watch videos in your app.
