‘Anxious and confused’: ‘This is a very complex situation’

In a letter to the Prime Minister, the Association of Australian Manufacturing (AAAM) said the industry was “anxious and bewildered” by the Government’s response to the crisis.

“As we continue to struggle with the challenges of the Reef, we are particularly worried about the Government taking the view that this is a ‘tactical’ crisis, rather than a long-term one,” the letter said.

“This is an anxious and confused situation for our members, and it will take time to recover from the crisis.”

What is bleaching?

When it rains, corals can form large pools that form in water that has lost its capacity to absorb carbon dioxide (CO2) because of rising ocean temperatures.

They are exposed to higher temperatures because CO2 molecules are able to break through their shells.

Source: AAP/ABC News (NSW) The reef is a major contributor to Australia’s annual GDP and it has been on a long recovery trajectory after the Great Flood in 1869, when the reef was completely covered by water.

However, the reef has been suffering from bleaching and coral die-offs in recent years, particularly in the Great Southern Ocean.

It is now one of the most heavily affected areas in the world.

The Great Barrier is the world’s largest marine ecosystem, covering an area of more than 1,200 square kilometres.

The corals are the most important source of food for fish and other marine life in the reef.

Coral reefs are crucial to the functioning of the ecosystem and a bleached reef is the result of an accumulation of CO2 and other chemicals in the water.

What is the Great White Shark?

A large white shark is believed to be the largest animal in the marine ecosystem.

It has the body of a large cat and the head of a shark.

It can grow to nearly 2.5 metres (7 feet) in length.

It weighs around 1,500 kilograms (3,800 pounds).

The threat of extinction has also been put in the spotlight recently by the release of a video of a baby Great White shark being attacked by a bull shark in the southern Indian Ocean in June 2017.

The bull shark was reportedly chasing the baby shark.

A number of sharks have been caught attacking Great Whites.
